In the tiny little church we used to visit as children in Independence, LA our sweet babies were christened. They were surrounded by family. Surrounded by love. After the ceremony, we walked to the back of the church to visit the graves of my Grandfa

We were leaving yet another family funeral. A lot of our (paternal) family are in Edgard, LA and along St. John and St. James parishes. I needed a break so we took the slow route back to the city. Driving up River road. It was a sunny, beautiful day
